Podcasting Project
During the course of an internship/unique service learning project with the Tippecanoe County Historical Association (in conjunction with Professional Writing's pilot @SEA Program at Purdue University), I had the opportunity to lead a group of college students. I developed a topic for the students to cover, and podcasts were written and recorded, in hopes of giving the TCHA a fresh perspective to draw in a new audience.

This documentation has the potential to be used in the Purdue Writing Lab for ENGL 106 students. I worked with two other students to produce this version of the documentation.
How to Podcast With Audacity - currently in progress
I am working to create a screencast that documents the process of audio podcasting. The target audience: college freshmen in a first-year English course. The screencast will document the use of Audacity as a recording and audio-editing tool. This documentation has the potential to be used in the future with the Purdue Writing Lab.
Mapping a Device
In this document, I have chosen to map the usability of the Sony Ericsson w300i cell phone. I use this phone on a regular basis. It is a strong example of my mapping skills, as well as my ability to map the actual usability of a technological device.
Female Role Models in High Tech
I was presented with the opportunity to interview someone that I have admired for a long time: Megan Morrone. As a former on-air personality at TechTV, a current technical writer and podcaster, and a mother, she was the equivalent of the person I hoped to be someday. During the course of the interview, I was lucky enough to find out what a professional writer is and does. This document contains examples of professional communication, and it showcases my email interview skills.
